        Mobile 1.25 Release

        Featured Image

We are happy to announce that the latest 1.25 Mobile Release is now available! The release includes enhancements to the notification settings, new messages related to offline mobile form and observation submissions, and enhancements for customizing mobile forms.

To make it easier for users to know how the app is going to behave when the device is offline, we added additional messaging. If you submit a mobile form or an observation while you are offline, we show a message that notifies you that the form will automatically be uploaded when the network connectivity is restored. From this message, you can click on the History link, where you can view the pending item in the History section of the app. This is supported on iOS, Android, and Windows devices.

With the previous Mobile release, we introduced in-app notifications that remind users to complete and submit in-progress work. To make it clear to users that may not have their app notifications turned on, we now show a warning with instructions and a link to the app settings where the user can grant the necessary permissions. This is available on iOS and Android.

In addition, we added support for additional date formats for Ad Hoc Category results, so the app will now correctly format system fields like Last Updated On. Lastly, we updated help text in the app to make it clearer how to capture video.

To see the complete list of Mobile 1.25 new features and fixes, please read the official release notes at the Documentation Center. We welcome your feedback on the new features. Please contact us with questions or to request a demo.

As a preview to an upcoming release, we are focused on navigation and usability enhancements for mobile documents. We are delighted to be able to incorporate customer feedback and data from the current product offering to empower organizations to more easily create structured mobile procedures that can be used to replace paper-based procedures.
