SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–DevonWay, a leading provider of on-demand Quality and Safety Management software, this week announced support for NEI Efficiency Bulletin 17-05: Simplified and Enhanced Management Observation Techniques, which recommends several approaches for reducing the administrative overhead associated with performing field observations.
A key element of DevonWay’s support for NEI 17-05 is its native mobile app, which is available on both iOS and Android and allows organizations to easily conduct field observations and report behavior or performance gaps.

With the DevonWay mobile app, workers can submit individual or paired observations, including comments, whether they’re connected to a network or not – if not, the app automatically synchronizes to the database when it detects a network connection. Additional features, such as voice-to-text and the ability to take pictures, also result in significant time savings.
The mobile app is an extension of DevonWay Observations, a highly configurable application designed to support non-technical users in managing human performance observation programs using their own library of scorecards and behaviors. Further, the DevonWay Business Intelligence (BI) tool allows users to create, share, and automatically distribute their own charts and reports, so key stakeholders can become aware of and understand any trends the data is trying to tell them.
